New Look Book

Hi all! For my first blog post for a while, I'd like to mention the new March-May Look Book, which you can view from the sidebar on the left of the blog page. Enjoy!

If you scroll down the left column of the blog, you'll find an embedded look book - I updated it last night so now it features some of my work which fits under the themes of January Garnet and February Amethyst. Take a look!

I should have noted in my last post that it was the 5th of November - Guy Fawkes day.

Today, the 7th, has been a lovely sunny day. I'm trying to work really hard on things for the Piecework show in 3 weeks time, to which end I picked up some additional shadow box frames today.

The frames are for the silk free motion embroidered butterflies I've written about a number of times, otherwise known as my Psyche collection. I've created an online portfolio of a selection of those and a full explanation of the collection, which you can look at here:

Showing work online

I've updated my textiles portfolio on Issuu, and I'm working on a website.  That could take a fair bit of time.

I'm also in the process of adding to my textiles portfolio, with images of things I didn't have pictures of before, etc.  That still needs work, but here's one photo I took the other day which I quite like.
