Two New Pieces

Today is warm and sunny, which is great for photos, so here are the two most recently completed paintings I talked about.  Hope you like!

I'm still working on some paintings - I've finished another couple which I will be taking photos of and posting soon.

Or, happy Tuesday, but either way I hope it's a good one for you.  I've been doing some painting lately, revisiting pieces I started and put down - which I do alot.  I've put the finished ones up on my Etsy and may end up taking them to my next show, which is booked for April. 

They're each painted in acrylics, each based on a butterfly, looking at the colours and markings and abstracting from there.  Here's a peek!

Drop Spinning

A little while ago I bought myself a drop spindle, to try out spinning yarn.  Lately I've tried out a few pieces, some undyed/natural and others various colours --

L to R: hemp (?), flax (?), wool with metallic thread, wool with silk thread, 3 similar shades of wool, alternating yellow and peach wools

Christmas season

I hope everyone is getting their shopping, baking and decorating done!  :)  Here's a couple more images of the clutches!  Eleven different colour combinations are now listed, and there's still about 4 in progress, plus a list a page long of other combinations I'll be working on.  I'd love to know what you think of them?
